Marketing Assistant to CEO

Armstrong Appointments is seeking a Marketing and Operations Assistant to support the CEO in driving growth through personal assistance and marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a vital dual role, driving business expansion through research expertise and marketing campaigns.
Main Job Function
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Assistant Duties:
- Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Handle correspondence, including communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Assist with the preparation of documents, presentations, and reports for meetings and events.
- Organize and maintain files and records, ensuring confidentiality and easy access.
Marketing Support:
- Conduct thorough user research to gather insights on customer behavior, preferences, and trends.
- Develop detailed user personas and journey maps based on research findings.
- Assist in creating and refining campaign briefs that align with user insights and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns are user-centric and data-driven.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Administrative Tasks:
- Coordinate and manage special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO.
- Organize events, workshops, and meetings, including logistics and attendee management.
- Handle expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in a marketing or administrative role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting user research and developing marketing insights is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of user research methodologies and tools.
Criteria:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and resourceful approach.
