We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Manager to lead our Command Centre operations in Africa. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and will be responsible for overseeing the execution of 24/7 Command Centre services.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT assets, including technology stacks, and be able to orchestrate operational processing and monitoring in alignment with customer expectations. They will also be responsible for implementing centralised processing and batch scheduling services, delivering efficiency and effectiveness gains, and participating in testing processes for new command centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the operation and execution of 24 by 7 Command Centre Services.
  2. Proactively leverage system capacity and service performance data to predict events, reduce event and failure recurrence, and improve critical business outcomes.
  3. Implement digitization, automation, and orchestration tools to drive efficiency in Command Centre operations and processing.
  4. Provide a complete view of aggregated monitoring and service performance data, including alerts, outages, past incidents, etc.
