Key responsibilities of the role include identifying issues to minimize impact on delivery, ensuring consistent quality client engagements and value-added deliverables in all monitoring engagements, and establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and a wide relationship network across business units and within compliance monitoring.

The Compliance Monitoring Expert will respond to client needs and queries professionally and within agreed turn-around times, communicate professionally in all communication forms, and listen actively to others. They will also plan monitoring assignments based on key processes and business risks identified and design the monitoring program in line with risks and key controls to be tested.

Responsibilities also include applying specialist skills in the execution of planning activities, considering the use of data analytics in individual reviews to enhance monitoring planning and create efficiencies in monitoring fieldwork, and executing monitoring field work in compliance with methodology by following and completing prepared work programs.

Finally, the Compliance Monitoring Expert will ensure confidentiality is maintained in line with operating manual/guidelines and group policies and frameworks, prepare a quality and balanced monitoring report to specified standards, and ensure monitoring file data quality is maintained.
