About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Strategy Director to lead our digital marketing team at Digitas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance our online presence and drive business results.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape and experience in managing social media campaigns. You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure that opportunities are not missed within the social media environment.

  • You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining our client's social media strategies through community management, social listening, content creation, and reporting.
  • As a leader, you will coach, support, and develop your team members to achieve strong performance and create a positive work environment.
  • You will provide proactive strategy and guidance to clients, leveraging your expertise in social media.
  • You will implement tools and processes for social media monitoring and analytics.
  • You will utilize data to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • You will provide regular feedback to clients and serve as a voice for the brand across all social platforms.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. You will also be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in journalism, communications, or English, or a PR or corporate communications certificate.
  • A minimum of three to five years of active social media listening, reporting, and analytics on behalf of brands.
  • A minimum of three to five years of online copywriting or social media writing experience.
  • Excellent understanding of social media marketing and related disciplines, including content strategy, online video, and influencer engagement.
  • Healthy personal social media presence.
  • Technical understanding of social networks' design and functionality specs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
