Student Experience Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a diverse international student population at EF International Language Campus Cape Town. The position provides great flexibility and requires you to wear many hats including administrator, leader, event coordinator, role model, counsellor, and policy enforcer.
This is a job where we truly ask you to bring your personality to the position. You will report directly to the Accommodations Manager and assist them with associated tasks.
The shifts mostly occur during nights and weekends, with two full days or four half days required at school in the accommodation office. We may ask for occasional assistance with EF events and activities.
You will be performing administrative tasks and be on call in the residence to assist with students' needs and queries. You will also work closely with building management and keep a logbook at the residence and record your inspections.
We are looking for individuals who are friendly and personable while working at the residence, as well as able to build meaningful connections with the students at the residence while handling discipline.
The part-time nature of the position gives the employee time to pursue additional qualifications while working. Please note that taking night classes cannot conflict with RA duties during the week.
Responsibilities- Assist with student check-ins every weekend (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Work closely with building management and keep a logbook at the residence and record your inspections
- Help plan and organize activities
- Do weekly room checks
- Attend staff meetings
- Fluent English-speaking abilities
- Bachelor's degree (or pursuing one)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g. creating reels, engaging posts) is an asset
You will receive a free apartment at the EF Residence in Green Point, Cape Town, and a monthly allowance of R 25000. Additionally, you will be able to go on school-arranged activities and host some of your own with the residence students.
