Job Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO

Role Summary:

This role requires an experienced Administrative Support Associate to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, travel arrangements, and Forex management for the CEO. They will also handle communication, maintain calendars and files, coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and manage expense claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Manage purchasing processes, travel arrangements, and Forex management for the CEO.
  • Secretarial Support: Handle communication, maintain calendars and files, coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and manage expense claims.
  • Insurance Management: Oversee vehicle and general insurance portfolios, and handle marine/transit cover when necessary.
  • Imports and EForex Management: Manage payments for imports and related Forex purchases, ensuring accurate documentation and cash flow forecasts.
  • Event Planning: Organize and manage large-scale internal and external events.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Legal Secretarial/Paralegal studies or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational and communication skills (English & Afrikaans), attention to detail, ability to make operational decisions, and strong problem-solving skills.
