Duties & Responsibilities

This role will involve partnering with various departments within Bestmed to ensure effective support between business and IT. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing application support, problem management, testing, learning design and development, and business intelligence.
  • Supporting trainers in developing training material and providing regular feedback on process and business changes.
  • Managing reporting to improve business systems and processes and collaborating with 2Cana to resolve issues.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision and meet performance metrics.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Grade 12
  • Diploma in IT or related field

Essential experience includes:

  • 4-5 years of current/previous experience in supporting users on the system in use.
  • 2-4 years of experience in supporting users on the Health Information Platform or Oracle-based system.
  • Exposure within the medical aid environment is an advantage.
