About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join our team at Tower Group. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Pretoria and Gauteng regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the basket of assigned customers and increase their spend
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase GP% of assigned customers
  • Convert dormant customers to active ones and meet agreed targets
  • Build relationships with customers and understand their business needs
  • Grow the network of active distributors and increase their spend
  • Bring on new customers and meet agreed targets
  • Work closely with an Internal Sales Rep to execute administrative tasks
Stock Management
  • Reduce excess stock and meet agreed targets
  • Propose clear recommendations on product development monthly
Market Intelligence
  • Provide clear and relevant feedback on the market and suggest tactics to maximize market share
  • Develop a clear plan on fabricator vs distributor network
  • Demonstrate market-leading product knowledge
People and Culture
  • Embed client core values in daily work and provide feedback to the line manager
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and consistent communication
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in the industry
  • Own reliable vehicle (mobile position)
  • Reporting line to Regional Sales Manager Inland Region

Aluminum window and doors experience is a must.
