Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities- Compile weekly statistics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and discuss measures to enhance volumes and profitability.
- Report regularly on area sales performance, highlighting trends and opportunities.
- Plan customer visits to ensure regular contact and communication are maintained through business reviews.
- Monitor and report back on competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage customer pricing and RTM (Root Cause Analysis) effectively.
- Build and maintain sound business relationships with all parties through regular interaction.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers at various levels as well as all stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Communicate regularly with warehouse staff to ensure proper and prompt processing of customer claims.
- Matric and B TECH in Food Technology or BSC Food Science Degree.
- At least 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in FMCG environment, with a valid Code 8 Driver's Licence.
- Sales-focused and customer relationship-building skills with attention to detail.
- High ethical values, professionalism, and maturity.
- Able to work outside normal working hours when required.
- Team player with a strong, confident, and assertive personality.
- Ability to take initiative and lead projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP (advantageous).
