The Recruitment Council is a growing holistic independent financial planning business seeking a highly skilled Administrative Professional to play a vital role in our operations.

Job Description

This position involves providing exceptional support services, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative requirements within specified timelines. Key responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for incoming calls and managing advisors' calendars, arranging appointments and coordinating schedules to ensure smooth operations.

You will be responsible for secretarial and personal assistant duties, including maintaining adequate stationery and consumables. Additionally, you will assist clients with Medical Aid, Gap, Life Cover, and Short-term Insurance claims, and verify the accuracy of all information and documents sent to clients and service providers.

In this role, you will also capture workflows, tasks, and client interactions accurately in the CRM system, ensuring that workflows and protocols are efficient and effective. You will champion new technologies and improved processes to enhance operational efficiency, maintain compliance with FAIS and FICA regulations for CRM and physical files, and store all documents digitally.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of a BCom degree, preferably with a focus on Financial Planning or Investment Management. You should possess fluency in both English and Afrikaans, understanding of administrative functions across the financial planning spectrum, and at least 5 years of experience in a financial planning practice.

As an ideal candidate, you will be process-focused and analytically inclined, with strong interpersonal skills. You will be self-motivated and driven, demonstrating a willingness to take initiative while being a team player. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and familiarity with service provider systems are beneficial.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of R550,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. This remuneration package includes benefits such as medical aid, life cover, and short-term insurance, which we believe will provide you with a high level of job security and satisfaction.
