We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Growth Strategist to join our team at Tower Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in business development and sales. As a Senior Business Growth Strategist, you will be responsible for driving new business growth through prospecting, account management, and pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for potential new clients and develop strategies to increase business.
  • Regenerate dormant accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, their needs, and decision-makers within the client organization.
  • Work with the team to develop proposals that address the client's concerns and objectives.
  • Load new account applications, ensure correct completion, and inform relevant departments.
  • Participate in pricing solutions/services and load special conditions and rates against accounts.
  • Handle objections through clarification, agreement emphasis, and differences resolution.
  • Attend industry functions, provide feedback, and stay updated on market and creative trends.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that lead to increased sales.
  • Develop unique selling propositions and differentiators using market knowledge and competitor analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum +3 years of relevant new business sales experience in a similar corporate sales environment.
  • Higher Certificate or similar relevant tertiary qualification (NQF5+).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or similar relevant qualification (NQF6+).

Competencies

  • Strong communication skills in English (read, write & speak), including listening skills.
  • Sales skills, extensive knowledge of sales principles and processes.
