Job Summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled Regional Support Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Regional Support Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our region with coverage during staff PTO. This is a per diem position that requires you to be on your feet and handle multiple tasks as needed to fulfill medications and answer patients' questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, count, and measure drugs
  • Assist pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computer
  • Refer physicians' calls and medical questions to pharmacists
  • May operate a cash register
  • Follow standard policies and practices
  • Work as needed at Tampa, Largo, FL locations, with additional hours available for locations in Plant City and/or Winter Haven
Requirements
  • 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
  • Active pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida
  • National certification (PTCB) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to travel to cover locations in the Tampa/Largo area
  • Stand for extended periods, frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
