Regional Sales Supervisor Job DescriptionJob Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Mukuru. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals and overseeing the success of our sales operations within your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Leadership: Collaborate with the Provincial Sales Manager to develop and execute strategies to meet sales targets and objectives within your region.
  2. Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their goals.
  3. Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients and partners within the region, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our company.
  4. Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze regional sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  5. Training and Development: Support the Lead Regional in organizing and conducting training sessions to enhance the sales strategies and product knowledge of the sales team.
  6. Communication and Collaboration: Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the sales team, service providers, and other internal departments.
  7. Service Standards: Implement and maintain service standards and protocols to ensure the delivery of world-class service to our clients within the region.
  8. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, conducting regular market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  9. Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the Lead Regional and other stakeholders to develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives within the region.
  10. Client Visits: Visit key clients within the region to build and maintain relationships, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  11. Team Morale and Engagement: Drive team morale and engagement by recognizing achievements, creating a positive work environment, and fostering teamwork.
  12. Complex Issue Resolution: Provide assistance and support to the sales team in resolving complex client issues or concerns.
  13. Best Practices and Consistency: Collaborate with the Lead Regional and other regional counterparts to share best practices and ensure consistency in sales strategies and processes.
  14. Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales professionals, ensuring the team is adequately staffed and equipped to meet targets.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a sales or related field.
  2. Sales Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  3. Leadership and Team Management Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  5. Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Negotiation and Relationship-Building Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
  7. Regional Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the regional market and industry trends.
  8. Travel Requirements: Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
  9. Training and Coaching Experience: Experience in training and coaching sales teams is a plus.
  10. Education: Grade 12 or equivalent (desirable).
  11. Language Skills: Understanding and speaking of Shona, Chewa, Ndebele, or any other relevant language (essential).
  12. Experience: At least 1 year Regional Sales Manager experience.
