Job Description:

  1. Location: Initial placement in Johannesburg (Weltevredenpark), followed by site-based assignment in Zwartklip.
  2. Contract Type: Project-based arrangement.
  3. Start Date: Immediate commencement.
  4. Compensation: Competitive monthly salary, ranging from R180,000 to R250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the construction process of a high-profile smelter project.
  2. Guarantee successful project completion within predetermined scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  3. Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary construction teams.
  4. Implement effective EPCM project management practices.
  5. Maintain adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  6. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Construction project management certification.
  3. At least 20 years of experience in handling large, complex capital projects within the EPCM sector.
  4. Preferably, experience in smelter projects.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in managing projects for prominent firms.
  6. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  8. Age: Preferably between 40-55 years old, with a maximum age limit of 60.
