A leading South African diversified mining company is looking for an IT Portfolio Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg (Hybrid role) . If you have strong experience in IT portfolio management, programme delivery, and risk mitigation , this is the perfect opportunity for you Main Function & Culture: As an IT Portfolio Manager , you will be responsible for executing and managing complex IT programmes and projects across multiple business units. You will ensure strategic alignment, risk control, and seamless project delivery , while working in a high-performance environment with a strong focus on innovation, leadership, and business impact . Qualifications: Honours Degree in IT or Business (Essential). Agile Practitioner Certification (Essential). Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Requirements: In-depth knowledge of IT project delivery methodologies and IT infrastructure. Experience in portfolio management, risk control, and programme execution. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ability to assess and prioritize IT projects in alignment with the business strategy. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for IT portfolios. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio & Programme Management Establish, manage, and execute IT portfolios and programme objectives across business units. Risk Mitigation & Compliance Identify risks, track recovery audits, and design business continuity strategies. Financial Oversight Create integrated financial reports including budget forecasting and expense management. Strategic IT Alignment Ensure IT projects align with business goals and drive innovation. Project Delivery & Monitoring Lead complex IT projects within time, budget, and quality constraints. Stakeholder Engagement Communicate programme progress and ensure seamless project transitions. Leadership & People Management Guide project managers and front-line leaders in IT initiatives. Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid in-office as required).
