Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves administering our retirement benefits, ensuring that our members receive the best possible service.

Main Accountabilities
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service to our members, providing Retirement Options Counselling and information upon request.
  2. Calculate and distribute accurate Retirement Projections upon member request, meeting tight deadlines.
  3. Engage with members nearing retirement age, guiding them through the transition process with clarity and professionalism.
  4. Manage interactions with members, maintaining a clear and transparent audit trail using relevant systems and processes.
  5. Efficiently process Funeral claims, providing necessary documentation and follow-ups to ensure member satisfaction.
  6. Accurately maintain records, collating and vetting supporting documentation for each member, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  7. Ensure timely correspondence with members within SLA, fostering a culture of excellent customer service.
  8. Submit claims to the Fund administrator according to legislation, such as the Pension Funds Act.
  9. Timeously submit electronic claims via the Fund administrator's system, upholding high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
  10. Resolving member queries related to retirement funds, death, disability, and funeral benefits in RSA and ROA, delivering peace of mind and confidence.
