KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and ensure all maintenance documentation is properly filed.
  • Address maintenance requests promptly and keep management updated on progress.
  • Effectively complete assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  • Regularly inspect properties to identify maintenance requirements and respond swiftly and efficiently.
  • Assess the exterior of buildings to pinpoint areas needing attention, including:
  • Lighting in restrooms, lobbies, hallways, staircases, parking lots, and external security fixtures.
  • All plumbing fixtures in restrooms (faucets and basic urinals).
  • Operational status of equipment such as air conditioning units, backup pumps, sump pumps, water tanks, and decorative water features.
  • Fire safety equipment, ensuring familiarity with emergency procedures and equipment functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma (Matric).

2 to 3 years of experience in a handyman role with robust technical expertise.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.
