We are seeking a highly skilled Generator Service Technician to join our team at Telebest. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for servicing, testing, installing, and troubleshooting industrial diesel generators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Complete preventative maintenance activities on generators or components at customer sites with minimal direction.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.
  • Preventative Maintenance Schedules: Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.

Requirements:

  • Education: N3-6 Engineering Studies (Electrical/Mechanical) or Technical diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications Environment, with 3-5 years of experience in servicing, testing, installing, and troubleshooting industrial diesel generators.
  • Qualifications: Valid Code 08 EB/EC Driver's License and Trade Test – Mechanical and Parts.
