About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and customer service, with a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its regulations.

As a Customer Success and Sales Professional, you will be responsible for growing business lives within the Top 50 department through effective customer engagement and the presentation of value propositions to targeted employers.

You will manage and resolve client services queries, visit clients to assist with the submission of Return on Earnings, and improve customer experience by addressing pain points and contributing to high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growing the Top 50 business lives by providing a value proposition to employers, enabling them to transfer and move to RMA.
  • Handling and resolving service-related queries, including first-line product, process, and technical support to customers.
  • Identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities through ongoing engagements with customers, explaining product benefits to potential customers.
  • Following up on leads and referrals received from customer engagement.
  • Liaising with employers to ensure that all issues are resolved, setting up continuous sessions to build relationships and provide the right service.
  • Addressing customer service and satisfaction issues promptly, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring timely communication with customers, updating customer contact details on the system, and capturing information from customer satisfaction surveys.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • NQF Level 6: Diploma in Insurance or a related field.
  • Long-term insurance or medical insurance experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance sales, service, claims environment.
