Fokus Personnel CC is seeking a skilled Fresh Produce Buyer to join our team in Polokwane. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality fresh produce for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement plans for fresh produce, in collaboration with our National Buyer - Procurement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Process and verify invoices and GRVs for accuracy and completeness.
  • Record and track daily intake, create-to-be-issued, and slot times for each product and supplier.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including buying and trading guidelines.
  • Perform other trading administration duties as required.
Requirements:
  • A commercial tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of fruit and vegetables and the procurement process.
  • A valid driver's license.
