About the Role

SKG Properties is seeking a highly skilled Field Services Manager to oversee the maintenance and project management of our commercial and industrial real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful delivery of maintenance and project services, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of Field Service personnel, ensuring they have the necessary training, tools, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initial site visit to final installation, start-up, and commissioning, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Workforce Planning: Manage workload, overtime, and labor resource planning to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all field work is conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards, and that all customer needs are met successfully.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Complete and submit service activity reports and paperwork in a timely manner, and maintain accurate records of service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Work with procurement to prepare equipment purchase orders, installation and parts lists, and coordinate shipment and installation to site.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of excellent customer service, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded, and that all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of field service management or project management experience required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical ability and knowledge of maintenance and project management principles and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and develop relationships with internal departments, customers, and management.
  • Education and Training: Fluency in the use of MS-Office products, especially Word and Excel, and previous health and safety and/or hazmat training a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Dynamic and passionate with a strong teamwork mentality, and a proven track-record of delivering successful projects against time, costs, and quality targets.
