About the Role

The Strategic Project Director will oversee end-to-end project delivery, acting as the primary client interface and ensuring that project objectives are met within time, cost, and quality parameters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project management commissions, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing effective project governance processes.
  • Advising on strategic project approaches, establishing success criteria, and monitoring performance using KPIs.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environmental aspects, as well as change control and procurement processes.
  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement, leading meetings, and maintaining open communication with clients and project teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years' experience in construction management or project management, preferably in large-scale commercial developments.
  • Registration with a professional body as a Professional Project Manager.
  • South African industry knowledge and exposure.
Estimated Salary Range

R1,500,000 - R2,200,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
