Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Department Operations Manager to join our team at ACB Consulting. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee the daily operations of a department, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

This role will involve managing all aspects of the store's operations, including commercial planning, merchandising, customer service, and stock management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Planning: Develop and implement commercial plans to drive sales growth and profitability, working closely with the General Manager and regional teams.
  • Merchandising: Manage in-store displays, ensure high standards of visual merchandising, and promote new lines effectively.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that the 6 minimums of customer service are followed, and resolving customer complaints promptly.
  • Stock Management: Work with the Operations Manager to manage stock levels, ensure accurate storage and classification, and process overstock and faulties efficiently.
  • Staff Organisation: Plan effective schedules, ensure a good work-life balance, and deal with unexpected circumstances.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar retail environment, with a strong track record of delivering results and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
