Job Summary:

Watershed Consulting is seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO and project audit requirements, as well as maintaining legal appointments, certification, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all HSE-related matters are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that all necessary documentation is maintained.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
  • Training and Development: Manage and coordinate inductions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings to ensure that all employees are aware of their HSE responsibilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with all departments to achieve legislative and project compliance, and provide support to employees in understanding and implementing HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant safety management qualification, such as a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, health, and environment management, preferably in a ship repair or oil and gas environment.
  • Skills: Sound verbal communication skills, computer literacy, and a valid driver's license.
