International Sales Executive

Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to maximize sales revenue and growth across targeted international markets by effectively promoting and selling the products and services offered by MECS Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management:
    • Achieving and maintaining the sales budget
    • Building, nurturing, and sustaining relationships with both current and potential clients
    • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
    • Negotiating terms and finalizing sales agreements
    • Conducting phone calls and face-to-face meetings with clients
    • Collaborating with marketing, sales management, finance, logistics, and technical support teams
    • Resolving customer issues and complaints promptly
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement
    • Responding to technical inquiries from clients
    • Participating in trade exhibitions and conferences, providing insights on new products, pricing, and market trends
    • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Preparing and delivering proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs and project specifications
    • Maintaining a comprehensive database of sales prospects and existing clients
    • Keeping accurate records of all sales transactions and commissions
    • Gathering customer information to aid in the formulation of marketing strategies and sales plans

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Certification in Marketing or Sales
  • Technical diploma or trade certification in electronics with 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic sales, preferably within the mining sector
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
