Job Summary

We are seeking recently graduated Engineers to join our International Graduate Engineers Program. This program offers a unique opportunity to work within a global structure and gain comprehensive experience across various engineering fields.

Program Overview

The scope of the program includes:

  • Home Base Onboarding (Local & Global MT Onboarding)
  • International Assignment (Relocation to the US or Canada)
  • Job Rotations
  • Project Delivery to the MT
  • Tech & Innovation Project Assignment, Onboarding & Initiation
Responsibilities

In this program, you will:

  • Work closely with personnel at all levels to become a subject matter expert in departmental products and processes
  • Install and maintain system BOM's & Routers for all products
  • Support projects to develop new products and/or processes
  • Participate in the APQP process, approving new products and processes
  • Support modification of processes and products
  • Plan and supervise the correct course of the statistical process control
  • Work together with peers and customers
  • Engage and lead lean manufacturing activities focused on Visual Factory, streamlined material flow, waste reduction, and inventory minimization
  • Generate and execute continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain documented standards systems for the department
  • Develop and conduct technical training for the furnace team
  • Assume a leading role in process improvement and coordinate quality and cost-reduction efforts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's / Masters degree in engineering (mining, mechanical, electrical, metallurgical)
  • Fluent English (French and Spanish is a plus)
  • International mindset or eagerness to be a citizen of the world
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across varying departments
  • Six sigma, lean manufacturing, or 5S training or experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with quality systems and process optimization is a plus
  • A first successful experience in an industrial environment is a plus
