Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Manager to lead our Material Handling Equipment team. This role will involve overseeing the management of a successful team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth in the region.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in regional management or operational leadership, with a strong background in customer service, decision-making, and analytical skills. A BCom in Business Management is an added advantage.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can develop and implement strategies to achieve company targets and objectives. The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, contractors, and administrative staff, ensuring they meet their performance targets and adhere to company policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the regional team in meeting monthly budgeted levels and exceed where possible.
  • Develop and implement a first-class service operation that ensures response, scheduled services, and breakdowns are handled within company KPIs.
  • Ensure New/Used Plant Sales, Service, Short Term Hire, and Parts departments achieve agreed customer coverage and conversion levels.
  • Manage contracts, warranties, and maintenance contracts to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of regional management or operational experience.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and decision-making skills.
  • BCom in Business Management (advantageous).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
