Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MS Network Engineer L4 to join our team at Dimension Data. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality network services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively monitor and manage network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and support teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex network issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
  • Up-to-date and relevant ITIL certification.
  • At least one mid-Level certification relevant to CoE (e.g., CCNP, MSCE, MCSA, MCSE, RHEL, VCP, etc.).
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PERL, etc.).
  • Cross-technology skills (e.g., Windows Server L4, UNIX, Storage, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cisco ACI and ISE deployments.
  • Extensive vendor management experience.
  • Track record of effective shift left work management skills.
  • In-depth experience and understanding of the IT industry and standards for IT service management.
