Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Office Attendant to join our team at Bright Search Recruitment (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rooms are clean and fully furnished to meet guests' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with housekeeping staff to confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services as appropriate and maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the hotel's reservations software to manage bookings and ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with travel planning websites like Booking and TripAdvisor to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Requirements
  • Prior work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in hotel reservations software and a strong understanding of travel planning websites.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • A degree in hotel management is a plus.
