Front Office/duty Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Duty Manager to oversee all aspects of guest check-in and check-out procedures, reservations management, and guest services. As the Front Office Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk while delivering exceptional customer service to all guests.
**Responsibilities**:
MUST HAVE OPERA EXPERIENCE
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Manage online and phone reservations, ensuring all bookings are processed promptly and accurately.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data securely.
- Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of their stay.
- Welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly greeting, and efficiently assigning rooms.
- Provide detailed information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities to guests.
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
- Upsell additional facilities and services to guests when appropriate, enhancing their overall experience.
- Maintain updated records of bookings, payments, and guest preferences.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Proficiency in hotel reservations software, with experience in managing bookings and reservations.
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate.
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A degree in hotel management or a related field is a plus, but not required.
