  • Basic functions and procedures on VIP Premier Payroll required for the successful completion of a payroll processing period
  • Accurate capturing of the following payroll input:
  1. Loading new employees
  2. Increases
  3. Earnings
  4. Deductions
  5. Company contributions
  6. Perks
  7. Terminations
  8. Leave
  • Capturing of payroll input using batch functionality
  • Knowledge of content of VIP Premier standard reports
  • Reconciliation of payroll
  • ACB Export
  • Backup
  • Start of period procedure
  • General payroll queries
  • Knowledge required ensuring that the application of the payroll complies with statutory legislation as well as more in-depth functionalities on VIP Payroll:
  1. Taxability of earnings
  2. Tax-deductibility of deductions
  3. Creating an earning definition
  4. Creating a batch layout
  5. Stop further entry

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant payroll related tertiary qualifications (advantageous)

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3 + Years experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • 3 + Years experience using VIP Premier Payroll is non-negotiable
  • Ability to perform accurately and timeously under pressure
  • Must be self-motivated
