Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Short-Term Administrative Assistant to join our team at HR Genie. As an Administrative Assistant - Underwriting Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the underwriting team, including receiving and processing new leads, entering and organizing details into the system accurately, and generating quotes.
  • Compliance and Process Adherence: Ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures, and maintain confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Liaise with internal team members and external contacts to ensure a smooth quote process, and maintain a high level of professionalism and respect in all communications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in short-term insurance underwriting or administration is beneficial.
  • Language Requirements: Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
