- To ensure that short term Reinsurance administration functions are executed efficiently and in line with contractual obligations, thereby supporting Reinsurance team in executing its responsibilities to its internal and external clients.**Requirements**:
- Matric
- Insurance qualification or studying towards
- Minimum 5 years experience in Insurance or reinsurance administration
- Efficient in Microsoft Office
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Capture reinsurance contract (Treaty and Facultative) onto the Reinsurance system.
- Follow up with the Reinsurers and Reinsurance brokers on outstanding contracts (Treaty and Facultative
- Generate renewal reports from the system and submit to relevant Guardrisk divisions (UMA, CRS and GGI )
- Update 100% reinsurance register on the system
- Update list of Approved reinsurance partners in liaison with PM’s
- Coordinate Reinsurance documentation for internal and external Auditors.
- Provide Reinsurance documentation to relevant Guardrisk divisions on request
- Schedule internal and external reinsurance meetings for the team
- Take minutes in Reinsurance team meetings
- General filing and maintenance of records
- Generate large loss report from the system and submit to Portfolio Managers
- Obtain quarterly performance stats reports from Technical Accounting and submit to Reinsurance PMs for review
