Position Overview

A professional services concern specialising in VAT requires the expertise of an experienced tax professional to conduct a full VAT audit of the client.

This includes identifying any VAT that is claimable but not claimed during the financial period, submitting monthly VAT201 and VAT201 Reviews, and liaising with SARS on assessments and objections.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding and experience in VAT, including apportionment ratios and their application.

Responsibilities also include conducting VAT audits, submitting VAT 201 and VAT Reviews, and handling SARS Assessments.

Furthermore, reconciliation skills and at least 3-5 years' relevant accounting experience or SAIPA articles are required.

An own vehicle and valid driver's licence are essential for frequent travelling.
