Key Accountabilities

  1. Lead and develop a team of store managers and crew members.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve targets.
  3. Ensure operational excellence and adherence to company policies.
  4. Analyze performance metrics and create data-driven plans for improvement.
  5. Recruit, manage, and develop staff.
  6. Manage stocktake planning, process, and inventory control.
  7. Handle disciplinary actions and employee relations cases.
  8. Maintain administrative, trade, and people checks in line with business standards.
  9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  10. Ensure visual merchandising standards are met in the store.
  11. Monitor staff appearance and backup areas.
  12. Coordinate new product launches and merchandise according to dispatch guidelines.
  13. Monitor overall store appearance and departmental housekeeping standards.
  14. Ensure customer service standards are maintained.
  15. Identify training needs and coach crew members.
  16. Communicate expectations and processes to managers and crew members.
  17. Provide on-the-job coaching and development opportunities.
  18. Approve store schedules and monitor overtime costs.
  19. Ensure promotion and display standards are met.
  20. Authorize maintenance actions and ensure general maintenance standards are met.

Requirements

  1. A relevant degree or diploma is preferred.
  2. At least 5-8 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the clothing retail sector.
  3. Knowledge of merchandising principles and fashion is essential.
  4. Strong leadership and team-building skills are necessary.
  5. Computer literacy, preferably with SAP knowledge, is advantageous.
