Regional Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee our sales operations within a designated region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing and executing strategies to meet sales targets, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet regional sales targets and objectives.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze regional sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain service standards and protocols to ensure world-class service to clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Regional and other stakeholders to develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Understanding and speaking of Shona, Chewa, Ndebele, or any other relevant language.
  • At least 1 year of Regional Sales Manager experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a sales or related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with the regional market and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
