About the Role

Salt Employee Benefits is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Leader to drive growth and strategic renewal in our IT department. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for transforming our traditional analog business into digital ones, focusing on creating new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Digital Innovation: Develop and implement a digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals, driving innovation and change across the organization.
  • Set and Implement Digital Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to map and transition traditional processes to digital ones, ensuring seamless integration and maximum ROI.
  • Be a Digital Evangelist: Champion the use of digital technology and practices, promoting a digital mindset throughout the organization and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the company's digital vision.
  • Ensure Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring that all teams are working together to embed a robust digital ecosystem.
  • Measure ROI and Fine-Tune Approaches: Develop and implement metrics to measure the ROI of digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure that we are investing in the right tools and resources.
  • Develop a Compelling Digital Strategy: Create a clearly defined and compelling digital strategy for the company's future, aligning with the overall business strategy and goals.
  • Ensure Integration into Strategic Planning: Ensure that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic-planning process, ensuring leadership commitment, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Generate Innovative Digital Solutions: Work with teams across the business to generate innovative digital solutions for products, services, processes, customer experiences, marketing channels, and business models.
  • Own and Monitor the Digital Innovation Project Portfolio: Own and centrally monitor the digital innovation project portfolio, ensuring that all projects are aligned with the company's digital strategy and goals.
  • Build and Grow an Internal Digital Innovation Ecosystem: Build, manage, and continue to grow an internal digital innovation ecosystem, ensuring that all teams have the skills and resources needed to drive digital innovation.
  • Identify New Tools and Technologies: Identify new tools and technologies, such as AI, digital, and CRM, that can support, enhance, and improve our solutions.
  • Work with HR to Attract and Retain Top Talent: Work closely with HR to attract and retain top talent, and to build digital capabilities across the company.
Requirements
  • Monthly Feedback to EXCO: Provide monthly feedback to EXCO on IT deliverables and alignment.
  • Be an Innovative and Team Player: Be able to work independently with minimal supervision, build and maintain supportive relationships both internally and externally, and be an innovative and team player.
  • Relationship Management: Work with various stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements and apply technical knowledge of data management to solve key business problems, build and maintain positive relationships with all clients and service providers, and be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
  • Time Management: Devote the whole of your time, attention, and abilities during working hours to the discharge of your duties, work concurrently on multiple projects to deliver value to the business, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
