TRS Staffing Solutions is a renowned company leading in global technology for over 130 years. We are seeking a Digital Sales Specialist with OT software industry expertise to drive digitalization and industrial software growth. This hybrid position is based in Gauteng, South Africa.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will implement sales strategies to improve market penetration and achieve growth aspirations for ABB's Digital Solutions and Services. You will execute digital sales tactics and initiatives to reach both qualitative and quantitative targets, focusing on sustainable order growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide sales leadership to support team members in sales, proposals, and indirect sales teams to secure Digital orders and maintain profitability objectives.
  2. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  3. Pursue new business opportunities through continuous business development efforts.
  4. Demonstrate expertise in multiple digital opportunities across portfolios with the ability to architect and design winning sales tactics.
  5. Drive sales activities to deliver or exceed assigned budgets for Digital Orders.
  6. Support local sales team members to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.
  7. Tailor digital solutions and value propositions to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
  8. Develop strategic partnerships with customers, consultants, partners, and solutions providers and effectively communicate the value proposition to stakeholders and decision makers.
  9. Develop, implement, and review digital sales processes and tools to support local Sales team members in actively selling digital solutions and services.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. Minimum 10+ years' experience in the OT software industry with focus on digitalization and Industrial Software with strong understanding of relevant technologies and trends.
  3. Proven track record in Sales, Account management, Sales Management, strong customer focus, exposure to customer top management, consultative selling, driving results, and turning opportunities into sales successes.
  4. Experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment.
  5. Deep experience in the industrial software environment.
  6. Strong knowledge of relevant solution areas such as operational excellence, process performance, asset performance management, sustainability solutions, connected workforce, and cyber security.
  7. Industry recognition and an established reputation within process industry customers and market insights to drive development of business growth tactics.
  8. Able collaborator with success in direct and matrix organization models.
  9. Able to deliver complex deliverables under demanding timelines and flexible with changes while keeping the customer focused.
  10. Excellent networking skills.
  11. Change management experience is a plus.
  12. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  13. Able to travel as required.
