Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT support specialist to join our team at Stepco Recruitment. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support for our clients' desktop and server environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for Windows desktop and server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and maintain physical network infrastructure, including cabling, routing, and switching.
  • Configure and support firewalls, including Fortinet and FortiGate.
  • Provide basic SQL support and assist with VM Ware and Hyper-V implementations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the field.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in desktop support, Windows Server support, and physical network installation and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.
  • Experience with Exchange Server support, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of network cabling, routing, switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
  • Basic SQL support and VM Ware/Hyper-V experience advantageous.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMWare, and FortiGate/ Fortinet an advantage.
