Job Summary

Tower Group is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Administration
    • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including preparing and maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Relations
    • Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including screening applicants, preparing interview materials, and conducting reference checks.
    • Provide support with employee onboarding, including preparing new hire packets, scheduling orientation, and conducting new hire training.
    • Assist with employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and distribute HR-related reports, including employee turnover, time-off requests, and benefits enrollment.
    • Develop and maintain HR-related communications, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR administration, employee relations, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in isiZulu and any other South African languages, both verbal and written, will be an added advantage.
Working Conditions

The Human Resources Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
