Office Manager Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Manage the director's diary and a team of engineers to ensure efficient scheduling.
  • Office Organization: Maintain a productive office environment by organizing daily tasks and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with government officials, clients, and stakeholders at all levels to build strong relationships.
  • HR Support: Handle HR-related duties including staff leave management and reporting supervision when required.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to engineering projects, including generating invoices using the XERO platform (training provided).
Requirements:
  • A bright, energetic, and practical individual with 5 years of experience in an office environment.
  • High proficiency in communication and computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • An ability to maintain a professional, confident, and presentable demeanor at all times.
  • BASIC understanding of accounting practices, with prior experience on the XERO platform advantageous but not required.
