Job Description:

Cochrane Global is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our financial department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and reconciling hundreds of financial transactions on a daily basis.

In this role, you will maintain an accurate record of financial transactions, update and maintain the general ledger, and reconcile entries into the accounting system. You will also be responsible for recording debits and credits, maintaining the trial balance, and account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in accounting, data entry skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A degree in accounting or related field and/or at least one year of experience in bookkeeping and financial administration is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile financial transactions
• Update and maintain the general ledger
• Record debits and credits
• Maintain the trial balance

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Data entry skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Associates degree or at least one year of experience in bookkeeping and financial administration
