Job Purpose:

To drive strategic growth, maximize profits, and expand our service line in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead staff management, service delivery, profitability, and expansion of services to current and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate resources from our network of independent consultants and international colleagues to meet client needs.
  • Manage the performance of the engagement team, develop high-performing teams, and ensure effective succession planning.
  • Cultivate talent through mentorship, coaching, and training programs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for innovation, stakeholder engagement, and business development.
  • Work with senior management to identify key areas of strength and leverage those strengths to drive business growth.

Strategy:

  • Create a fit-for-purpose strategy for our firm, aligned with our values and objectives.
  • Evaluate the performance and management of our service line and own teams, monitoring activities and implementing interventions as needed.

People/Talent:

  • Implement talent management policies and processes to develop mentees into technical experts.
  • Ensure the development of high-performing teams and manage capacity requirements to meet client needs.
  • Communicate the vision and strategy of our organization to all personnel in the service line.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with senior management on matters relating to portfolio, internal policy committees, and other stakeholders as required.

Innovation:

  • Foster a culture of innovation to distinguish ourselves from competitors in the marketplace.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualified CA(SA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered Auditor with at least 10 years of experience in auditing.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years as Associate Director/Executive Management/Director in an audit firm.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
