Job Title: House Manager

Cape National Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to oversee the daily operations of two properties in Cape Town and Stellenbosch.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and upkeep of the properties, including facility management, VIP vehicle management, and general caretaking duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of both properties, ensuring all facilities are maintained in excellent condition.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for regular upkeep of the properties.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of VIP vehicles based at Hidden Valley.
  • Supervise household staff, including cleaners, gardeners, and drivers.
  • Manage inventory of household supplies and ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications:

  • South African Citizen
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in property or facility management
  • No Criminal Record
  • Proven experience in managing high-end residential properties
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in using property management software and tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a requirement to reside at or close to Bishops Court in Cape Town
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed
  • Ability to respond to emergencies promptly
  • Must be prepared to undergo psychological evaluation and a Polygraph Assessment
