HR Generalist Job Description

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, focusing on training and development, recruitment, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs, develop job descriptions, and conduct interviews.
  • Employee Engagement and Motivation: Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Management and Succession Planning: Develop and implement performance management systems, ensuring effective succession planning.
  • Employee Benefits and Industrial Relations: Manage employee benefits, maintain positive labor relations, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Payroll and Headcount Management: Oversee payroll processes, manage headcount, and maintain accurate records.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Proven experience in training and development, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
