Village N Life is a leading local Tourism and Hospitality group that prioritizes exceptional service standards. We're seeking an experienced Welcome Host to join our team at Mint Wellness, situated in the picturesque Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna.

About the Role:

We're looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills to provide exceptional guest experiences. As a Welcome Host, you'll be responsible for administering the front desk and reception area, supporting the Spa Manager and front desk coordinator, and welcoming guests with refreshments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of front desk and reception area operations;
  • Supporting the Spa Manager and front desk coordinator in daily tasks;
  • Welcoming guests and providing refreshments;
  • Booking and scheduling appointments;
  • Corresponding with guests via email or phone;
  • Stocktaking and completing daily cash-ups and sales reports;
  • Familiarity with treatment protocols and spa-related products;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized welcome drinks station;
  • BUILDING and maintaining client relationships through effective communication and special promotions;
  • Upselling products and services.

Requirements:

  • Matric certification;
  • Beauty Therapy, administration, or Sales diploma (advantageous);
  • At least 1 year experience as a receptionist in a Spa environment;
  • MS Office, Excel, ESP, and Opera knowledge advantageous.

Competencies:

  • Problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities;
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and systems.

Salary Estimate: R 250,000 - R 350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
