Insurance Commercial Development Expert

About the Role:
TRASA is seeking an experienced Insurance Commercial Development Expert to join our high-performing team in Sandton. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and secure new commercial insurance clients through strategic networking, referrals, and lead generation efforts.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by closing deals and expanding the client base.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
• Conduct professional presentations to prospective clients, explaining policy features, benefits, and customization options.
Requirements:
Education & Certification:
• RE5 Certification (non-negotiable)
• FAIS Accreditation compliant with Commercial Insurance
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development within the commercial insurance industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Attributes:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and analyze client needs.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Additional Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
