Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transactions related to project development, including power purchase agreements, construction contracts, and operation and maintenance agreements;
- Supervise associates and junior lawyers in the team;
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and pitch for new opportunities;
- Contribute to the team's business development plans and support the growth of more junior team members;
- Participate in cross-border transactions on a global scale;
- Contribute to our globally read Outlaw e-publication and external publications on topical issues and developments in our markets;
- Take an active role in our business development campaigns and the development of innovative products.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of post-qualification experience in a firm with an established energy and/or infrastructure practice;
- Experience in project development transactions from a commercial and/or finance perspective;
- Ability to navigate complex project agreements and exercise good commercial judgment;
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for this client-facing role;
- Receptiveness to different ways of working, including strong project management skills;
- Business development experience, including presenting seminars or training sessions to external parties.
