About the Role:

Arvo is seeking a talented Junior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg, working on exciting renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, electrical engineering, or a related field, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including records of progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to track delivery deadlines and progress, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Provide regular updates and address client concerns as the primary point of contact.
  • Support senior project management in preparing status reports, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Lead project meetings, documenting outcomes and action items, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Project Management qualification, with Electrical, Renewable Energy, or a related field experience preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy or electrical sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software and documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
