Senior Sales Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Consultant in Port Elizabeth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service: Represent our brand by selling products and providing exceptional sales services to customers.
  • Shop Operations: Supervise daily operations within the shop, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Shop Consultants to achieve collective goals.
  • Sales Initiatives: Generate and respond to sales leads, implement initiatives to boost sales.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct proactive telephone marketing/sales calls, manage email and telephonic inquiries, and offer aftersales support.
  • Stock Management: Identify and engage potential customers, process orders and returns, and maintain stock levels.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with payment collections, support credit controllers, and handle general shop maintenance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Enhance the shopping experience through effective visual merchandising, ensure timely stock takes, and analyze sales reports.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster good working relationships with colleagues and coordinate customer events.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • Location: Reside within Port Elizabeth or a 15-20km radius.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional South African languages are advantageous).
  • Sales Orientation: Sales-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); SAP experience is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Quick learner with a high level of commitment and responsibility.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and/or customer service.
  • Reliability: Reliable transport and clear disciplinary, criminal, and credit records.
